From the village, follow the SP 158 \u2018delle Collacchie\u2019 road in the direction of Follonica for half an hour&#8217;s drive. Leaving the sea to your left and the pine trees behind, you will reach the Val Martina car park from where the footpath leading to the beach begins. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most iconic coves in the Maremma, Cala Violina is famous for the musical rustle that the <strong>quartz sand<\/strong> emits under footsteps. Enclosed in a crescent of Mediterranean maquis, it offers: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Turquoise water<\/strong> and shallow waters, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unspoilt landscape: no establishments, just a small seasonal kiosk away from the foreshore.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restricted access (1 June &#8211; 30 September) to <strong>700 persons\/day<\/strong> \u21d2 preserved environment and tranquillity even in high season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coastal paths lead to the wilder <strong>Cala Civette<\/strong> in an extra to an even more secluded cove, ideal for those seeking absolute silence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Picnic in the shade of the junipers<\/strong>: there are no establishments or services, but the kiosk at the entrance to the trail offers sandwiches, fresh fruit and drinks to enjoy on the
